Why is it that when little ones (who aren’t really “talking” yet) babble happily, it is always, “Dadadadadada…”
But when they are crying or hurt, it is always, “MAMAMAMAMAMAAAAAA…”
I think that’s why we are called MAMA and DADA.
Some mother wanted to encourage the Daddy to bond with baby and said, “Look, honey, she’s talking to you! She loves her Dada.”
Then, baby got unhappy and began to wail. So, Daddy passed her back, “She wants her Mama.”
That’s how we became Dada and Mama.
